Registration is now open at The University of Strathclyde online shop

COLIS 2025 will be a fully in-person conference without virtual attendance or presentation options.


The registration includes:

  • Attendance to the main conference (3rd -5th June)
  • Main conference lunches (3rd, 4th, 5th June) and refreshments (morning and afternoon 3rd, 4th, 5th)
  • City Reception at Glasgow City Chambers (3rd June)
  • Conference dinner and ceilidh at Oran Mor (4th June). Additional dinner tickets may be purchased during the registration process at a cost of £95 each.
  • Only for invitees: Doctoral Workshop attendance, lunch, and refreshments (2nd June).

Registration must be done exclusively via The University of Strathclyde Online Shop

There is no on-site registration.

Paid early-bird registration is mandatory for at least one presenting author for each accepted submission. Any submission that does not have a corresponding early-bird registration by 28th March 2025 will be removed from the conference programme and proceedings.

ETAs 

Please note that anyone traveling to the UK will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). These are being introduced in several stages for different nationalities, over the next few months. Visas and Certificates of Attendance 

The University of Strathclyde may provide visa support letters to attendees as well as authors with accepted papers, however it does not issue formal invitation letters for visas.

Please keep in mind that the person who requests for an invitation letter must pay the registration fee first, and the letter can only be sent after the payment has been made.

Please indicate your request for a letter in support of a visa application in your registration form and include the following information:

  • Name (as it appears on the passport) of the conference attendee and mailing address
  • Authors and/or speakers should indicate their paper title, or title of their talk
  • Include an email address of where letter can be sent.

Certificates of attendance may be requested in the registration form, and will be issued at the end of the conference or prior to the attendee’s departure.


Cancellation
Requests for registration cancellation must be made in writing to cis-colis2025@strath.ac.uk. All requests for refunds will be processed after the COLIS2025 conference. 50% of the registration fee will be refunded for any requests received more than 14 days before the start of the conference. For cancellations made after this, then no refund will be provided. There will be no refunds for authors of accepted papers when no other co-author is registered.
